• 100% Lemon (Citrus limon) Peel Essential Oil cold-pressed.

Usage

Diffuser: add 3 to 5 drops to your diffuser with water, following the diffuser instructions. Diffuse for 30 to 60 minutes at a time in a well-ventilated room.

On the skin: always dilute in a carrier oil, such as almond, jojoba or coconut oil. Use no more than 2%, which is about 12 drops in 30ml of carrier oil. Do not apply to skin that will be in the sun within 12 hours.

Natural cleaning: add 10 to 20 drops to a spray bottle with 250ml of water and vinegar for kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Test on a small area first, especially on stone, wood and painted surfaces.

Steam inhalation: add 1 to 2 drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and breathe in the steam with your eyes closed.

Not for internal use.

Never apply undiluted to the skin. Patch test diluted oil on a small area first.

Cold-pressed lemon oil can make the skin very sensitive to sunlight, which can lead to burning, blistering or dark patches. Do not apply to skin that will be exposed to the sun or sunbeds within 12 hours.

Keep away from the eyes and the inside of the nose. If oil gets into your eye, rinse with a carrier oil or milk rather than water, then see a doctor if irritation persists.

Do not use on babies under 3 months. For children, use only well-diluted oil or short periods of diffusing, and keep the bottle well out of reach.

Pets: citrus oils can be harmful to cats, dogs and birds. Do not apply to pets, and only diffuse in a room your pets can leave.

If you have asthma or are pregnant, speak to your doctor or midwife before use.

Lemon oil can damage some plastics and polished surfaces. Wipe up spills promptly.

Older, oxidised oil is more likely to irritate skin. Close the cap tightly and use within about 12 months of opening.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dark place, ideally in the fridge.
