Sea Moss Gel 50g
Sea Moss Gel is a cool, silky skin gel made from one of the ocean's most treasured sea plants. Sea Moss, also known as Irish Moss (Chondrus crispus), is a small, frilly red seaweed that grows on the rocky Atlantic shores of Ireland, Scotland and Brittany. Coastal families have gathered it by hand at low tide for centuries, and in Ireland it was a lifeline during the hard years of the 1840s famine. Today it's best known in Caribbean tradition, where sea moss is a much-loved part of daily life. When sea moss is soaked and blended, it forms a smooth, natural gel. The gel is rich in sea-plant polysaccharides, which hold water and leave a light, breathable veil of moisture on the skin. In this gel, Sea Moss is blended with soothing Aloe Gel, which has cooled and comforted the skin for thousands of years. The result is a lightweight, refreshing gel that hydrates, softens and calms the skin. It's lovely as a face mask, an everyday moisturiser or a hair treatment.
